heaven & co

I am officially on winter break, which is exciting but crazy how we're already here! I never thought I'd get here so fast. Here, as in . . December, end of 2010! School ended at 11:00am today, which gave me plenty of time to do lots of things. Of course, knowing me, I got nothing finished nor completed or achieved and accomplished. ;) . . but it's alright.

. . I just found something out and to hear something like that is . . so sudden and unbelievable. Right now, I really pray for their family! Through what they're going through and all the little situations in it! I know that as such predicaments as these, there is nothing else some would think, why? "Why to me?" or "Why does it have to be my family?" . . but I know Our God is strong and He will do great things in His way to those who love and trust in Him! I pray for this family and hope that they will continue to stay strong through it all! - Heaven

. . This was this past Summer - 2010. Here, my brothers and I eating some ice cream! Dip n' Dots, to be exact. Such a moment, forgetting about anything and everything and just sitting in the middle of the mall - literally, just sitting there, & eating ice cream, of course. :)
It is now Christmas time (total opposite of the summer time) and I'm blown away by the time and as it continues to move on . . it's so crazy! There are so many things to come in the new year & God's got it all planned out! :) I'm so excited to see what He has in store for those who will lead, for those to do great things in this world, and for those who will be changed and renewed! :) I know He'll be working through those whom He has chosen! :)

- - Being given the opportunity to work with the girl's this year with Lala was amazing. I know the year hasn't ended just yet, but still. :) It was very hard to try to get to know them at first because it's out of your comfort zone, you know? I see these girls every week, but just saying a simple Hi was hard enough! ;) . . but I'm thankful that the Lord broke me and guided me throughout the year to now and this very day! Just being able to create these relationships with the girls is awesome! Seeing them grow, learning about them and who they are! I thank the Lord for providing such friendships. :)

As I read back into one of my old posts, I came across this passage:

      God's definition of what matters is pretty straightforward. He measures our lives by how we love. Incour culture, even if a pastor doesn't actually love people, he can still be considered successful as long as he is   a gifted speaker, makes his congregation laugh, or prays for "all those poor, suffering people in the world" every Sunday. But Paul writes that even if "I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing (1 Cor. 13:2-3 ESV). Wow. These are strong and unmistakable words. According to God, we are here to love. Not much else really matters.

Over time - I tend to just forget it. I wanted to learn how to love others, but I just slowly forgot, overtime. When I read that verse the first time - it struck! Even if I have faith like Abraham, enough to be able to move mountains, but still have not loved, then I gain . . nothing. - Heaven

Here I am, looking & thinking about what to wear for my costume. I never really thought about what I was/wanted to be - so I guess I'll just go as Bathsheba. :) I feel like today will be very hectic up until 5:30pm. I have to squeeze in so much within so little time. I'm just gonna go with something easy and simple! :) I think I might have it. :)

- - I'm so hungry, right now. Which reminds me - I must eat before sunrise! Today will be a day of fasting from sunrise to sunset. I plan to start the day off with the Lord. :) I want to gain wisdom! -Heavenyang

. . currently at school in this pretty empty library. The weather is so unpreictable. When I came out of first period, it was seriously - dark & rainy and scary. I didn't even bring a jacket/hoody with me today. :/

I am SO tired because the girls and I stayed up ALL NIGHT this past weekend. We just bought a lot of junk food and did our makeup and all that. It was pretty fun and enjoyable. :) Haven't had a night like that with those girls in a long time. :)

The whole weekend that I was up in Toccoa, we all stood up pretty late, so NOW - it's finally kicking in. I'm super sleepy, but I must NOT take naps when I get home. haha. It wastes so much time, man.

...okay, I should get back to art class. I've got 20 minutes before we head to next period.

- - only my mom's, of course. :)

Except for this batch, I made. :) I know how to make soup! Wow, so proud of myself. I thought it was pretty good, so I made some the next day as well! :)

- - ah! I'm so tired. I got too caught up in my pictures. It's 3:00am already. :/ I'm gonna be so tired tomorrow. Actually, the sleepiness doesn't kick in 'til the day after, so on Monday, I'm gonna be super tired. :P

- - I finally finished my LA project! I thought it'd be fun to do, but it was forever long, which made it no longer fun. One down, two more to go. It's odd how 3 teachers would assign projects around the same time. -__- haha.

- - Friday @ the Falls! Since this year, people are still going, I guess I'll be going as well - I'm planning to, anyway. The dates are set for Thursday, October 21st - Friday, October 22nd. Deadline for registering was Oct. 15th, but I signed up like . . right now and today's already the 17th. HAHA! :) oh well. -Heaven

You know what? I tried making your meat ball soup thing . . and chris was all like - - what the junk is that? I bet if you were making it, they'd be more than willing to eat it all up. It doesn't taste the same though, therefore no one will eat it, which will make it a waste. *SSIIIIIGHHHHH! They don't appreciate my cooking. :( losers.

My parents are finally, actually gone. It was kinda sad to see them leave. They just . . left. I guess it's weird because they're DRIVING to WI and this time, it'll only be my parents and Reason. When my parents are gone, I feel so paranoid and unprotected. :( Whenever they leave or will be gone for a bit, my dad would buy garlic bread from the store and he would say "Put it here - and eat it when you guys are hungry." :)

Today feels like a Friday, but it's only Thursday. This week has been a rather slow one. It may be because I can't seem to understand the things that we're learning in geometry. Is it g e o m e t r y that I'm taking? I don't even know, man. :( I hate it when it just doesn't CLICK! I'm so glad that my teacher moved the test to monday! :) With the extra time that I DO have, I should use it to study! :) hrm. I say that now - - but I bet I won't. I've been saying that all week and not once did I study. FAIL. haha.


- - Everybody seems to have plans for this weekend . . I was just about to say, ". . but me." but wait! I do! haha! Worship Series 2 this Saturday! :) My friends have their homecoming dance this weekend and Elizabeth wants me to do her makeup. haha. I think she thinks I'm really good at doing makeup. haha! Anyway! I personally think that our Worship Series has been going pretty well. :) I'm excited for this next one. :)

I'm currently watching a new drama! My Girlfriend is A Nine-Tailed Fox! :) hah! I think it's SO funny. The guy, personally, isn't the cutest - but he's so funny. I love his face expressions! haha! :) The girl, on the other hand, is super pretty! super. pretty. I'm liking it so far and for the rest of the night, I think I'll be watching it. :)

Today's been a pretty cool day. At school, my friend Pamela said that we made it into Key Club. Sounds like a pretty dorky thing to be happy about but I had to get a recommendation and everything just to turn in an application! My advisement teacher said that they usually except most people, so whatever. :) I'm glad I made it in. Sounds like a good club for service hours. Eyes on the cord for graduation! :)

While I was doing dishes today, we received a call that my mom won a free trip for two to go to THE BAHAMAS! :) Four days and three nights! How aweeeesome is that?! Sounds soooo relaxing already. I really think both mom and dad could use that trip. It's sooo super exciting! I hope they'll take it. My dad was asking if we could just not go on the trip but take money in return - um, no. just go on the trip. :)

The wedding this past weekend was good - I thought so, anyway - besides a few things. :) The dresses were beautiful and the church was so nice. Loved it. :) I can't believe Kang is MARRIED now! It's so exciting. It's good that she's still in town! :)

- - I gotta get back into exercising daily. *sigh. I've slacked off of it majorly. Starting . . TOMORROW! Tonight, I'm gonna go to sleep - early. Have a good night all.

My chemistry says that ALL THE TIME so that it would stick to our brains! Cu is for Copper. We're in the process of memorizing the periodic table. School has been so tiring and all the kids in it are so annoying! haha! Especially the MEEKA DOOS in math class. Why do they have to be so dis-respectful? Just let the teacher teach, okay! Obviously, he's a good enough teach to have gotten his degree and all that and to have gotten the job at school. haha. :)

I'm so glad tomorrow will be Friday! It's been such a long, tiring week. It's so hard to keep up with each class. I think this year, I'll be joining Key Club - If I "make it", of course. As well as Art Club. :) Anyway, Yeng went to go rent Letters to God from Redbox. Ranson's not watching anymore 'cause I guess - He's annoyed. HAHA. :) Whatever. I'm gonna watch it now. :)

Oh boy. Today's our first day of school & I actually have time to write a post? haha. I can tell Ranson's nervous. I'm ready to conquer the day. It's gonna be such a drag - I just know it. Pleeeeease, please, please no homework on our first day! Oh! I didn't even get to ''sparknotes'' a book last night, so I think my first test will be a fail. :/ -heavenyang

. . yesterday night was another one of those sleepless nights. I don't know what it is . . but I was up 'til 5 in the morning just laying there in my bed, falling asleep here and there, then waking up because it was so hot. Maybe i'm thinking too much - 'cause I CANNOT sleep!

Since I'm already up (9:03am) I'll just stay up. I have to get breakfast cookin' and ready before my dad gets back home! I love how we have so many varieties of drinks to choose from! Do you want Mtn. Dew? or Juice? or Nam Vam? ;) I think we might still have the cucumber drink. Oh! & there's two pizzas that my brother brough home yesterday..I think i'll be eating that for breakfast! :)

I was supposed to show Ranson around school today so he'd be familiar with it on his first day - but dang! I woke up late. haha! I thought his didn't start 'til 1PM, but turns out, it starts at 8AM. Why so early? dangggg.

Oh man . . I'm gonna die when school hits. I can't even wake up early! :/ -heavenyang

In a little bit, my mom will be taking us to shop for school supplies! I love shopping for school supplies! I always try to look out for a good planner! It makes it more fun! :)

I can't believe school is already less than 2 weeks away! This summer has gone by way too fast! I guess I'm ready for it, though. I'm sure the school year will go by just as fast! This year, as I say every year, I plan to REALLY focus! I always say that, then I just end up doing whatever. This year, I have no excuse! I've slacked off way too much to just do whatever! I will succeed! Plus, crafts arts sounds fun, right? I mean, it's . . crafts! :) Crafts is something that I like to do, so it shouldn't be too bad - unless if there's annoying people in the same class, then I should be fine! :)

I finished packing - finally. Just got done showering and I painted my nails for the first time in the longest. :) Just two more hours 'til we get on the road - hopefully. ;)

I'm still very upset about my camera! How dare it die on me before Wisconsin. It didn't die, but it's all messed up now. :/ *sigh. I guess I know what I want for my birthday! :)

I don't have headphones for my iPod either. dang! What a roadtrip this will be. -heavenyang

It's so early in the morning. I don't know how I'm going to do it when school comes back along. After Wisconsin, I promise to get back into the groove! I need to start sleeping early and exercising more often. One thing I need to stop doing is pulling these all nighters! It's crazy! I don't even know why I do it.

Anyway, yesterday, Pang and I got a dress for me for the wedding this weekend. :) I like it! I just need to be a little slimmer to make it look better. haha! I don't know if I should wear my hair up or  down. Oh, the decisions. :)

Today is Tuesday. It's 6:43AM. I think I'll start the day off with breakfast! Then I reaaaallly have to start packing and all that jazz. Oh! LAUNDRY.  I don't wanna over pack too much for this trip. My over-packed luggage was such a hassle down in FL, esp. when we were on the 10th floor! Anyway! Not too much of over packing this trip & besides, it's only a weekend. :)

Can you believe it?!  Summer has gone by so fast! I can't believe we only have . . 27 more days left! It's so crazy! I'm kind of sad to know that because I HATE waking up for school. I really do, but that's not surprising. Almost every morning, I slept on the bus in seat #1! It's so . . dreadful when you really think about it. The only thing that might be exciting is the fact that i'll be taking Arts Crafts this year, so I'll be doing something that I actually like! :) Arts Crafts sounds very cool and fun! :)

Ok! The sun has risen! I should go and start my day - or do something besides sleep. I'll probably end up taking a nap later. haha. We all know I will.

P.S. I've been eating a lot of watermelon lately. I feel good about it, too! It's supposed to be good for you body! :) Today I asked Reason, "Is there any left?" and he goes, "yeah! Alot!" "How much?" "There's like that whole ball, you know?" haha. He's a funny one.
