* Currently sitting in Physics class and writing on here beucase sadly, our school doesn't let any other site through. I don't know why they blocked tumblr. :P It's not that bad. Anyway, currently woriing on a project that is due Friday. SO many projects to do - seems like it ... and there's so much school work, period. I can't wait 'til Thanksgiving break. The ONE thing that the school has done well - ONE WHOLE WEEK of Thanksgiving break. :) I'm so excited.

- - so clear and simple, yet that I couldn't even understand. :P haha. Now that I'm a bit older, hearing this song again is a lot clearer. ;) Everything is meaningless ... just like chasing the wind.
But as I looked at everything I had worked so hard to accomplish, it was all so meaningless - like chasing the wind. There was nothing really worthwhile anywhere. - Ecclesiastes 2:11 (NLT)

- I guess I could start off by saying that this was the first official day of summer 2011. Like I always say, it's pretty crazy how time flies. I spent the day cleaning my room. The whole entire day, literally. I haven't "deep cleaned" my room in so long. Feels good to have a clean room, again. ;)
- I read this thing on tumblr and I'm gonna go for it. It's a great way to live by God's word accordingly. You wake up in the morning, pray, read His word and see where it's guiding you toward, then you choose one passage, and throughout the day, you live it! Remember the passage in all your ways and you remember to actually live it. It's not just something done on a whim, but you really pray about it. Pray for guidance and strength . . . because it's not easy. You can easily forget and just like that - done.
So . . I'm really excited for this. Faithfully and humbly praying that God will really use me in His ways and help me to live according to His word. :)

Dear Brother, The question is . . which brother? I know we argue a lot and some times we disagree big time on things, but I still love you despite all that. When I say, "I'm trying to love you.." I do mean it and I am trying. When other people tell me, "sure, you are . . " - - It's harder than it looks, you know? Just because it's easier for you doesn't mean it is for others.

I've come to realize that there's more to life than the sweet sound of the guitar you play or the soft voice that you sing out. There's more of One to pursue than one here. I know I say, "I can't wait until I have my first boyfriend . . blah, blah, blah." - - I know I say that a lot, but that doesn't mean I'm impatient or eager to quickly get a boyfriend. It'll just be exciting when that day finally comes, when the Lord finally sees me fit with another man. :) Until then, I'm just patiently waiting.

I'm not perfect, no where close, and never will I be - - but as a daughter of the Most High King, I am aiming to love like He does, to live like Him, to even think like Him - because He's the One who is perfect.
In 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7, it says "Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance."
In order to be able to love others, you must learn to love God first - just as He has commanded. Jesus replied, "The most important commandment is this: 'Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and with all your strength.' The second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these." - Mark 12:29-31
* Note the word "all" being underlined. ;) In hermeneutics class this past week, we learned that repetition of words is pretty important. Jesus didn't say to love with only a little bit of your heart, mind, or soul - but with all of it.
If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God's secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn't love others, I would be nothing.
- 1 Corinthians 13:2
- - Love certainly plays a big role in our lives. A huge role! So big that even if we were able to move mountains - - but didn't love, then we'd be nothing - - absolutely nothing. It says in 1 Corinthians 14:1 - Let love be your highest goal - - because only three things will last forever - faith, hope, and love - and the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13)
So look around you - look within your homes, your family, siblings, relatives, classmates, schoolmates, your co-workers, or your church! Come along through a journey that will not be easy - God never said it would be - but He has already been there, through it all.
"Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples." - John 13:35

This may sound a bit cliche, but I mean it - words can't even describe how much you two mean to me. Maybe sometimes I don't show it, but really, where on earth would I be if I didn't have you guys to love me? What if I had really taken that opportunity as an "actress"? hahah! Really now? I'm actually glad I didn't do it because how far would I have strayed from family, friends, and God especially? haha! Now thinking back, I can't believe I actually went to that, man! haha. Anyway - you guys have sacrificed so much. Nothing I do will ever be enough to repay you guys - so I'll try my best to be the daughter that you guys would be pleased with. :)
- - I guess we don't really have that much pictures together. This is the most recent and only one I could find of my parents and I together with Pang. Maybe we'll have to change that. :)

I don't even know where to start. ha ha ha. I guess I should start by saying that this is simply a "crush", it's not something I expect to turn into something real. ;) Crush's are only temporary. ;) hah. Anyway, my oh my, Crush. You certainly had me at hello - cheesy, but kinda true. The way you play the guitar and sing - ahhhh, it's to die for. haha. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but all the girls know it, too! Such a great heart that you show towards everyone around you and the love you have for God - < 3. Even if you will never know that I've had this "crush" on ya, it's okay. I surely hope that as you continue school, may it be all for God's glory. I pray that He'll continue to lead you to where He wants you to be and mold you into a man after His heart! :)

My best friend? I would have to say my sister. She knows everything about me, literally. Out of us two, I'm glad she's the older one - she's already gone through everything & experienced everything, so I won't have to figure it out for myself! ;) I've always thought we were pretty close even while living under the same roof, but now that she's married and all, we are indeed, in my opinion, closer. :) Even though I miss all the talks we used to have or could have had, I miss all the times we would stop by BK to grab breakfast and always make it late for church, I miss all of our F.R.I.E.N.D.S talks, all those things - I'm glad that she's finally found her spouse, her "soul-mate", one to live with for the rest of her life, in sickness and in health! haha. I'm also really glad that she's still living in state. Who knows how different life would be with her elsewhere. I was telling her we didn't have any pictures together & we really don't - not any recent ones, anyway, but here's one - This one was taken either before or after we had played in the snow. It must have been a real long time ago because she was still living with us. ;) Those were the days, man. :)
