1. Re-start my fitness plan. I've never been one to stick to 'em. I struggle in this area of my life, but always willing to upstart the journey again and again. So while it's tough, I do desire to find some kind of consistency in this thing we call a "healthy lifestyle."
2. Dive into a devotional plan. I recently started one over the book of Proverbs. She Reads Truth is starting up one on Acts and I'm excited for it. I love using the summer time for this exactly.
3. Record and upload more videos. I've gotten into creating more vlogs and they are so fun to re-watch. I'm currently editing a few and they're already bringing back such fun times.
4. DIYs for next semester. My roommate and I will be staying with another pair of girls and I love it because we'll be seniors. I'm headed into senior year so I want to make the area nice, comfortable, and welcoming ... and livable. ha.
5. Study for GACE. The lovely GACE ... the next mountain in my summer. I'm so ready to cross this off of my list of things to do.
6. Find more teacher resources. To prepare myself for student teaching, I want to use this summer to find teacher resources that will be ready for me by the time Fall semester gets here. I've already started a little and these kinds of things are fun for me, so it shouldn't be too bad. :)
Just like that ... my junior year is over. It's crazy to have so many things come and go and feel as if it was just yesterday that I was starting first semester as a junior. I feared so many things and now being at the end of the tunnel, I know that I really didn't have anything to worry about at all. I fear that all I might have learned was to wish away my time instead of truly embracing each moment that the Lord gives. Nonetheless, I want to take this time to remember all that went down this past year...
1. Ranson and I enjoying Zaxby's celebrating his 20th birthday!
2. The girls and I on one of our spontaneous trips to Walmart ... all in the front seat.
3. Here we are celebrating Esther's birthday.
4. Mai fixing our string lights half-way into the school year.
5. Working ResLife with these girls have been a blessing! They're all graduating and I'm sad to see them go.
6. This is probably the year that I got into coffee. What a weird decision I made!
7. Oh gosh. Thankful for this girl who's willing to do silly ResLife events with me ... no matter how stinkin' ridiculous we look. I cut up a perfectly good bed sheet for this.
8. I enjoy their presence ... even when they're watching pimple popping videos. Yes, these are my friends.
9. Celebrating Mai's golden 24th birthday! It was definitely a fun morning.
10. Celebrating the wonderful Kabao in honor of her big wedding day!
11. We joined a small town event and took pictures along the way! I so did not enjoy my shorter hair length.
12. Our junior class hangout (the other girls weren't here, yet).
13. Enjoying Teacher Appreciation Day with the lovely Fab 5.
14. My super silly boyfriend came to visit.
15. I received my own little desk during my field experience. I'm thankful for caring mentor teachers.
16. Lesson planned and taught two segments for first graders (my dream grade!).
17. Students were good to go when it came to retelling! :)
18. Gotta get in that selfie. This was the first day I taught!
19. Blessed by paintings in the sky during every early morning commute.
20. Doing spontaneous things in the midst of finals as if we didn't have anything important to do.

Hello struggle, indeed.
In my life, I realize that there are some things I'm good at .... but other things that I truly truly need help and all guidance in.
1. My decisions ... the little ones ... like what can I eat that will benefit my body? And is it a wise choice to be spending my money on this now? So to break it down, really, it's = healthy food decisions + the things I choose to spend money on.
2. Which leads to this point ... I am truly struggling with weight loss. It's def. so easy to gain, but so difficult to lose. Lord, help me refocus on why I need to lose. Not for the betterment of the way I look, but to better glorify you in what comes with this journey of weight loss = dependence, discipline, diligence, healthy choices, decisions made to honor God.
3. Aaaaand I'm currently in the middle of the end of classes and finals week. It's kind of like the calm before the storm ... except I know the storm won't be as bad because all my finals are take-home ... which means I don't actually have to be in class. Praise Jesus. This also means that I'll be a step closer to the end of the semester. End of semesters are tough. But ... also because I need to check-out for RA and that's a little hectic as well as it is more stuff on the list of things to do.... hehe.

With all that said, if my struggles are meant to lead me to closer to you, Lord, then bring them for I know that nothing passes you without consent and that You have a greater purpose in all of this.
