In no particular order, here's a little update in pictures.
Jeffrey and I have been joining in with the young couples here and it's been encouraging for us. We've been walking through 1 Corinthians and we've had some challenging thoughts - all good challenging things. Since being on our own, I've realized my need and desire to be with people who have been where we currently are, so it's seriously neat to be in the presence of these men and women who are still young couples and still desire to walk with the Lord so fervently. Often times, young couples tend to stray away, but I'm encouraged that this group wants to reach out to other young couples!
Just posing in my favorite winter coat of all time (until I get a new one). I was talking to Rachel the other day and she was worried about the cold northern weather for when she moves upwards. It reminded me of the time Jeffrey and I went out to buy this bad boy. There are no regrets.
We celebrated our first v-day togetha! So v-day is like ... random, but it was fun to celebrate our marriage on this day. We ventured out and found a nearby sushi restaurant which wasn't bad at all. Then we bought each other gift at Target and this was the most fun. Ha!
On some Wednesdays, I'll go into the office with Jeffrey and just spend the day with him there until we have Wednesday night prayer/life groups. Just a little ootd. Black has been my current attire (but maybe it's aways been ... haha).
The announcement of my brother and sister-in-law's baby, y'all. I remember it clearly. Jeffrey and I had come back from volleyball and we were waiting for their call so we could watch my parents open their Christmas gift from us (since they were overseas during Christmas). I didn't think they were going to call anymore since the time had passed, but when I got out of the shower, I saw the live recorded on Facebook and called them so fast! I can't believe I'm gonna be an aunty to this sweet baby. And I have a feeling it's going to be a boy! ;)
And lastly, got to see Esther when we visited last month. There's something about friendship that is truly so sweet.
