When The Gas Light Appears ...

5.23.2012

Don't you just hate it when that lights pops on and you've got little to no money and quite a while to go before you reach the nearest gas station? Oh man. I just feel like every time that happens, we're gonna get stranded out on the road. As Reason and I, along with my parents, were driving home today, the light turned on! We were driving through the "country" roads and had a while left until we would reach the gas station and all I could think to myself was ... "Please don't die on this road now. Pleeeease don't!" haha. I feel like God is teaching me so much in somewhat little situations such as this. I once read somewhere that worrying only wastes time ... and it reaaaally does! It's such a waste of my thinking time. I could be thinking of other things, you know? ;) ... but God is good --- and as my family goes through this "financial" issue, please pray for us to fully trust in God. I'm not as worried as I thought I'd be but sometimes it can get pretty tough. Anyway, we made it home!

Did you know? After your gas light comes on, you're still able to drive for a good 50 to 60 miles until you fully run out of gas. Wow .... fact. of. the. day. :)

On a different note .... today, I'm thankful for 1) today, 'cause it was the last day of school! haha ... and 2) for the little things like sitting in the car with my parents or laughing with my mom and bros. 3) I'm thankful for makin' it home with the little bit of gas in the car and for 4) the volleyball games I got to play with Mindy, her sister, and her boyfriend. 5) Also, for the yummy food my dad brought home today!
