Wow! This weekend was crazy and it's not over just yet. I've had so little sleep and I feel like I'm dying. ha-ha ... not literally though. I do, however, feel like I'm comin' on a cold here. My nose has been stuffed and runnin' all weekend long. Can't. even. breathe.
Iverson had yet, another, birthday party this weekend. I love celebrating them! I just feel like it's always his birthday ... which is so funny. He's so adorable and smart though. I can't believe he's turned the big ... four! :) On Friday evening, I went over to help out with any decorations and prepping for the next day. I was put in charge of baking and with the one and only job I had, I ruined it. How does one mess up on already- prepped-easy-mix cupcakes?! I do not know, but what I do know is ... I clearly don't know how to bake. ha-ha. For some odd reason, I just forgot to add the water and so it came out volume-less. No one wanted them and so I ended up taking about seven of them home, excluding the five that I already ate that night. haha.
My brothers came to pick me up from their place and as we're heading home, we run out of gas on the highway! Like ... it was crazy! I can't believe it happened, nor do I remember most of it because I was already half asleep. I know I wasn't mad, but just thankful that we were okay. Just needed gas. haha. Thankfully, our cousins were not yet asleep! ;)
Spent this night making a cupcake box for a friend at church. Her birthday's coming up and I just wanted to let her know that "hey, I care!" ... somethin' along that line, but more importantly, just wanting to celebrate her. It's her birthday, ya know? :) So that's what I spent my last 3 hours doing. Earlier today, after the birthday party, I made some chocolate covered oreos for the youth bake sale tomorrow! I'm excited to bring them in! They're so good but one is enough! They're just a tad bit sweet.
Just feels like it's been quite a busy weekend. Not even - it's only been a Saturday! Anyway, looks like my plans for the rest of the weekend is to finish my homework ... after church. :)
