I've literally posted all of the photos already, but I can't help but share them again to remember this occasion! I'm so glad I get these opportunities to travel home even if it's only for a short weekend. It feels like an eternity that we've waited for Yeng and Season to get married and they're finnnnnally married. My siblings' weddings always leave me so bittersweet.
Reason has grown so much and I can only imagine how wonderful of a man he's going to become. Every time we go home, he always insists on running errands with us. The first time, he braced through the heat with us in our no-ac van and never complained once. The second time we went down, he woke up early to run errands with us at Sam's Club. I secretly think it's because he enjoys hanging out with Jeffrey.
My cute-as-ever grandparents whom I've loved getting to know! I've always wanted to be close with my grandparents and it saddened me tons when I knew I didn't really have a relationship with them. It's actually the weirdest thing that we have grandparents but haven't gotten to know them much! It's a long story. However, when Jeffrey and I go home to visit, they always stand up from across the room with wide-eyes and welcome us home. So sad they'll be going back to CA. :(
It pretty much rained throughout the entire ceremony and it was hilarious. Everyone in their best dressed literally looked like a mess (myself included) which was the best part.
If there's one thing to know about Yeng, it's that he loves with no record of wrongs and he's displayed that through their relationship. It's funny because Yeng hardly ever shows emotions or expresses himself, but he sure knows how to love people.
When I asked them to take this photo, my grandpa proceeded to ask, "Why didn't we take one at the wedding where everyone looked nicer?!" Good question, gramps. Haha!
Another goodbye ... but we'll be back!
