Friends -- I've finally mustered enough energy to get back to blogging after a few weeks away and by away, I mean laying in bed doing nothing. Lol. It's been about a month since our Colorado trip and I don't know if I've even fully recovered from it. Lol. It did take about a good week to just get "caught up" on sleep again. Road trips drain me, y'all -- but it was so worth it. It did my heart a lot of good to see old friends, to reunite, catch up and laugh our days away. I kind of missed that and forgot what it felt like to do that.

Something about saying goodbye to the ones you love that always makes it so difficult. The other day, Jeff told me, "You just don't like goodbyes!" I mean .... not sure what to tell ya, but I truly don't. It was such a great week together - loved every moment!
