One of the stamps that I have ... "You are loved ... " I love this saying 'cause it's true. Even when you feel like you have no one, as if no one loved you, know that you're definitely loved by our God most high!
It's been quite a productive Monday. I started my day today by cooking for a house full of nine boys + my dad. I don't know why I didn't think ahead of time when they were already here last night. I had to quickly think of something to cook and fast! So for pops, I made the typical kind of food he'd eat ... and for the boys, I made curry! *big laugh here.* I've never made it on my own before --- like on MY OWN, despite the fact that we've had curry for dinner so many times! My mom made it this past weekend and all I did was prepare the meat for her and so as I was trying to think of which step was next ... well, I didn't know. haaa. I called my mom at work (her first day at her new job!) and asked her real quick! haha. In my defense, it was great considering we didn't even have the major ingredients. So yummy.
I pulled out my crafty card making book today! I bought it a while back and was so excited to receive it in the mail, but surprisingly, I've never really looked at it ever since. So today, I borrowed some ideas from it and these are the cards I made today (I'll be sending them off tomorrow, if I remember!) ... I decided to just make cards incorporating the one flower stamp. There are endless possibilities in crafting cards.
I love DIYs. I recently found a new DIY blog through 'bloglovin' and I loveeee it! You can check it out here: http://www.ispydiy.com/ ... and here's another DIY blog that I enjoy: http://honestlywtf.com/ ... I've been on a kick with diys and so I started with these bracelets. It's fun to wear what you make and it saves money, too. ;)
Here's what I made for dinner ... not exactly the tastiest because of the bitterness, but it definitely looks good. These have inspired me to make "cabbage rolls" tomorrow and I'm so excited! I've looked up a couple of "How to make cabbage rolls" videos on youtube and I think you can just get totally creative with it! Add whatever spices you want and rice if you want, anything! So! I'm gonna get creative, alright. ;)
This past Sunday, I had the chance to catch up with Maggie, Lala, and Karissa and might I add that it was so great to catch up again! We found out that both Maggie and I hate cooking (or are just not good at it) and both Lala and Karissa love it! I wished I loved it. I'd look forward to cooking everyday! ;)
Finally, here are the cards that I'll be sending out. No one sends anything through mail anymore and it's sad. I love getting mail. Everything is just that much more meaningful. Maybe I'm just so old fashioned but I blame my sister ... I'm so much like her. haaha. :)
On a different note, the youth will have to opportunity to lead p&w with the coordinator this weekend and I'm so excited for it! I pray/hope/think it'll just be an awakening not only for us, but for the congregation as well. The officers and I have just been talking about p&w lately and how it's so dead and dry. Grace & I were mentioning how praise and worship should be called genuine worship instead because if anyone's going to lead it, then it should be led with genuine faith looking to only glorify God through it. Yeah, just a thought ... haha. :D
