WEDDING DAY // JUNE 17TH, 2017

9.11.2017

We're all heart eyes over here because our wedding photos have finally arrived (like a couple months ago, but I'm just now getting to posting them...haha). We're so thankful that Jeffrey's cousin was able to photograph our wedding and we love them! Sorry if you've already seen them like SO many times, but I love looking at them, so here I am posting them again - just my favorites this time! The whole day was a blur (a good blur), but so glad that I can always look back at these photos to remember it. I still can't believe we've been married for 3 months now. So many exciting things that we've been able to experience and I totally love this idea of doing life together.

I cannot say enough good things about the entire bridal party. Both the guys and the girls got along together so well and made it so easy and fun to celebrate! We're thankful for this handpicked group - we truly are. Every time Jeffrey and I reminisce about this particular weekend, we don't have the words to even describe it except for .... smooth. Everything was so smooth and that's mainly because we had this group of men and women who love God and because they love God, they love those around them. We know we're so loved by each of you and we hope you know that we literally love you guys, too, and would do the same for you guys in a heartbeat!

You girls have literally played such impactful roles in different seasons of my own life and whether you know it or not, hopefully y'all do, I'm so blessed by who you are and I'm continually encouraged/thankful/grateful/insert all the feelings. Mindy, our childhood consisted of so much wedding talk. Even when you found out about my engagement, you stepped in right away to help me plan with anything/everything despite your own busy life. I'm so glad you were able to be a part of everything we planned from beginning to end. Love that our friendship is one where we can pick up right where we left off. Vic, your willingness never stops and you, girl, you always desire the very best for your friends and I've seen that through college and more than ever while planning for this wedding. It's proof that you hold friendship dear to your heart and it's always been an example for me to live by. Maidearest, in the short amount of time we've gotten to know each other through college, I feel like we've able to be so honest and real with each other. The beginning of our roommate years (or the beginning of our "best friend" days) seriously came in ample time, dude. Genuinely thankful that I have the support of an even more genuine woman who chooses to stand next to me despite having seen the entirety of my flaws behind closed doors and still choosing to listen to me when I have like an actual snot face at 2AM. Not pretty, dude, but at least we can laugh about it today. Ha! Esther, I don't know any girl who'd give up their own wedding song so that their friend could have it. Still blown away that you would sacrifice your song for me because I know you loved it. And can't believe that I even took it! Life with you is never dull and I can't even imagine that it'd ever be. Maiya, we have so many dang memories together. I have loved each and every memory with you from late nights due to a lack of discipline, but having great conversations, growing together as freshies, trying new things together, challenging each other, doing ministry together, and senior year together. Such fun times and I already miss living life with you. Sala, thank you for your friendship. I remember when we'd have conversations and you never failed to fight for me and Jeffrey's relationship. You always sought to get past the bushes and I'm thankful for the realness that pushed me/challenged me.

And that's all, folks.
