We've lived in this little apartment for about 15 days now! Feels like such a short amount of time, but we've already done so much! There have been many times when I'd want to do my own thing (I can literally be on my own and not be bored), but I'm realizing more and more that ministry is sacrificial living. I don't even have a job yet, but I'm already finding myself to be so busy. Jeffrey and I have taken on multiple duties since being here with our new church and to an extent, it's gotten pretty overwhelming. Nonetheless, I've enjoyed this new season, this new place, and being a part of a much bigger story than our own.
What we've done for the past 15 days:
- Moved in and unpacked fully! Not much decorating going on here because I find myself torn between wanting to stay clean and minimal and also lazy and not wanting to take care of any decor in the long run.
- Baked cookies with a few girls.
- Gathered for a bible study.
- Joined two birthday parties!
- Waited for the new year.
- Worked out twice! Ha...
- Played volleyball twice.
- Slipped on ice.
- Finally got our mailbox keys to work and found a whole lot of junk in our mailbox.
- Bought some paper and cardstock and got my printer going!
- Taught Sunday school
- The elders came for a house visit and they brought us loads of rice and noodles! So kind.
- We made a trip to IKEA and bought lots of furniture.
- Joined nam tsev for the first time.
- Applied to only two jobs.
- Started whole 30.
- Joined life groups as a leader.
