On another note, I can't believe that this month has come to an end as fast as it did. I finally started to venture out on my own. Thankfully, we live close to a few good shops so the venturing doesn't exactly take me very far from home. I think one reason I've felt so ... not myself is because I haven't really gone out to explore. I finally hit up a few stores and it's been .... literally a breath of fresh air. Being in a new place makes me want to explore, so I've curated a list of different places to check out while we're here. Being that Jeffrey is pretty busy, we have limited windows, but a lot of the places I want to check out are mainly coffee spots - easy stuff. :)
This month, I also started Whole 30. It has not been easy. I've failed many times (like 4 to be exact) and had to start all over. We just eat at church every weekend or there's always an event happening. So when there's non-compliant food, it gets hard, but I'm finally on day 8 today. Yesterday, I made some cacao balls with dates, cacao powder, and almond flour and it was not bad! I know we're not supposed to create healthy treats during whole 30, but I did. Lol. I think one thing that's helped me a lot is having Jeffrey be a part of it. He's super supportive, says no when I need it, and he tells everyone that I'm doing whole 30. Haha! Not only that, but people here have also done or are currently doing it, so it's helpful to know that we're like doing it alongside each other. If there's something I'm learning through this, it's that I lack discipline ... a ton of it.
I'm still on a job search. I always thought that jobs came easily to me but wow, I'm having a hard time. Not a hard time, but I was expecting to have a job by now! Lol. Not complaining ... just starting to get a little concerned is all. Haha! Anyway, I'm going to meet up with a hiring agency tomorrow, so I'll let you know how that goes. Haha.
In other news, I'm going to start my etsy shop soon! I originally wanted to start with selling cards, but until I perfect that, I'm selling leather key fobs! They're very random, but I've started to enjoy these little accessories, so I'm going to make them for etsy. I'm starting off with the simple key chain fobs, then I hope to move into leather coasters, laptop cases, passport covers, and luggage tags, etc! I'll let y'all know when things get going! :)
Hope you all are well.
