Home.
Lots of different things we've walked through while only four months in, but we are remaining so so thankful for where we are. Something I'm learning, among many other things, is learning how to enjoy cooking. I was never a cook and I didn't really enjoy being in the kitchen much. It's so helpful to be back home though because I feel like it really pushes me to see how I can serve my family in this way.
There's something about being in the kitchen and providing a fresh cooked meal on the table that makes my heart so warm - perhaps the homemaker in me is finally coming in. I only wish I learned this sooner as I missed out on so many opportunities to love my family well.
Nonetheless, I'm going to keep moving forward and a part of that looks like preparing well how to go about this. There are so many days I walk into the kitchen unsure of what to cook, but as I said, preparing well is a huge part of this as I'm not one who can make a full on five course meal out of three ingredients. I just can't do it - I need a plan! Haha.
So if you're anything like me, then maybe you'd appreciate this menu plan. I created this menu planner in a full 8 x 11 size, but you can of course use it according to your own needs. I think it'd work great as a small sized bookmark in your planner, too! Printable below!
Find the printable here.
Happy planning + cooking!
xoxo, Heaven
