Easter Sunday 2020 - The Quarantined Version

4.12.2020

For the first time in a long time, we're not rushing out the door trying to make it to church on time ('cause we can't lol) so I figured I'd share pieces of our Easter Sunday. Lots of dinkin' around and trying to find things to do, really. When you're three weeks strong into quarantine, you're basically finding just about anything to keep you busy and sane. Here's to that!

hello, cozy.

I love slow mornings with Jeff. We Thow on some music be it worship, indie, whateva and let the sun soak into our skin as it rises into the morning sky.

There's something incredibly beautiful about routine. Ha. I enjoy waking up and filling this little diffuser just to start the day. It's the same feeling when you light up a candle and it creates an aura; the mood of the entire room just changes -- that's what it feels like for me.

Today's blend consisted of lemon, frankincense, and ylang ylang. So bright and uplifting.

A well incorporated routine goes a long long way for me. Never realized how much a routine held me together, but it's the little things that can really set the tone for your day. Another post about this to come!

The most perfect cup of coffee I've had in a long long time.  Is it just. me or getting coffee out is just not as good anymore? Admittedly, I still very much enjoy the coffee shop scene.

Literally what a lot of our "gatherings" have looked like. Thankful for technology and how it's connected people through times like these!

That's it! Thanks for hanging around, friends! Praying that the message of Easter was an encouragement for each of you. May it be known today and again and again that Christ is alive; that the grave was not enough and it couldn't contain Him. What good news that is! May the message of Easter be so much greater than eggs in a bucket, but of Hope from death to life, bringing to us a gift no other could offer, the gift of life in and through Christ alone.
